1.00: River Holme Connections:

Adrian Barraclough presents the work of our local campaign group which is passionate about making the river Holme catchment a better place for people and wildlife through their numerous projects – Trout in the Town, Mayfly in the Classroom and the next stages of the Recovery Scheme. With the help of dedicated volunteers, it works to improve biodiversity, educate people about the importance of river ecosystems and improve recreational opportunities for the whole community.

2.00: Amy-Jane Beer:

Author of over 30 books, well known for her prose, love of the Yorkshire outdoors and passion for the natural world, the writer and campaigner talks about her new book, The Flow: Rivers, Water and Wildness and leads a discussion on the environment
